Jordan Smith

Jordan Smith currently serves as the Director of Lean Portfolio Management at Pacific Scientific EMC within Fortive, a position held since November 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing new product development and operational excellence across global R&D teams. In addition to leading the application of the Fortive Business System (FBS) for continuous improvement, Jordan manages kaizen events and develops leaders skilled in FBS practices. Prior to Fortive, Jordan was Head of Business Development for mobile robot solutions at Kollmorgen, achieving significant growth through strategic partnerships and targeted marketing initiatives. Earlier roles at Kollmorgen included Manager of Sales Operations, where process improvements led to enhanced funnel performance, and Lead Engineer for Global Marketing, where Jordan transformed the company’s digital strategy. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
