David Thompson

General Manager, Foods at Fortnum & Mason

David Thompson is the current General Manager of Foods at Fortnum & Mason. Prior to this, they were with Whole Foods Market for over 8 years, where they were an Area Associate Store Manager. David has also worked as a Private Dining Room Manager at Tom's Kitchen.

David is a food industry professional with a wealth of experience in store management, culinary programmes, food safety, hiring and employee relations. David is passionate about reducing waste and increasing sales through innovative NPD and improved waste recording and analysis. David is also known for their strong focus on food safety standards, which has consistently scored in the top range. In their role as General Manager of Foods at Fortnum & Mason, David is responsible for overseeing the entire food operation, including the development and implementation of new initiatives.
