Jochen Freese

Jochen Freese has been working in the Procurement and Business Development field for over 20 years. Jochen started their career as a Managing Director for a Supplier Park Development Company. From there, they moved on to work as a Global VP for the Automotive Vertical at UTi Worldwide. After two years in that position, they were promoted to SVP of Market Verticals & Global Marketing. In 2010, they became the Regional SVP of Northern Europe before moving back into the automotive industry as the EVP and President of EMENA Region for UTi Worldwide in 2011. Jochen Freese joined Hellmann Worldwide Logistics as their CEO of Air and Sea Freight in 2014 and served in that role until 2017 when they were promoted to Chief Commercial Officer. Jochen held that position until 2021 when they joined Forto as their EVP of Procurement & Business Development.

Jochen Freese studied mechanical engineering at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, where they earned their Master of Science degree.
