Ciaran Rafferty

Ciaran is the Managing Director of Alert Logic by Fortra, the industry leader in managed detection and response (MDR). This solution delivers white-glove cybersecurity help with comprehensive coverage for public clouds, SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid environments.

Ciaran joined Fortra in 2019, when the company acquired Clearswift, a leading provider of data loss prevention solutions for email, web, and the cloud. In 2021, Fortra also acquired Agari, a business offering unrivalled protection against email-based fraud. Ciaran led the integration of the two companies into one robust business unit to make sure customers can secure critical data and protect their organizations from a wide range of email-based threats.

Ciaran has more than 25 years of experience working in IT and cybersecurity. Before joining Clearswift, he held senior management positions with companies such as Dun & Bradstreet, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, SAP, Sophos and Proofpoint.
