Aki Mattila's work experience includes various procurement roles at Fortum. Aki started as a Project Manager in 2007 and later became a Purchase Manager, Category Manager for Electrification and Automation, Head of Procurement for Solar and Wind, and Head of Procurement for City Solutions. In their most recent role, they served as the Procurement Director for Fortum's Renewables & Decarbonisation and Circular Solutions Business Units, responsible for direct procurement in areas such as wind, solar, hydrogen, heating and cooling, recycling and waste, turbine and generator services, and bio2X procurement in multiple countries. Prior to joining Fortum, Aki worked as a Project Manager at Process Vision Oy, where they managed software development and delivery projects for utility sector customers.
Aki Mattila holds an M.Sc. degree in Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, which they completed in 2002. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering from RWTH Aachen University from 1998 to 1999.
