Diana Potts

Diana Potts has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Diana began their career as a Special Field Agent in the US Army, where they worked in East Berlin and West Berlin for almost 8 years. After leaving the military, Diana transitioned to civilian life and worked as a Business Developer, GSA Expert, and Environmental Team leader at the North Carolina Military Business Center. Diana then held the position of Director at the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce/Training for Small and Diversity Business, where they focused on supporting small and emerging businesses in the Cape Fear region.

In 2013, Diana founded The Center for Emerging Business, a Business Development Center specializing in business analysis, growth, and workforce development. Diana served as CEO/Founder of the organization.

Throughout their career, Diana has also held positions as a Director at the Fayetteville Regional Chamber and as a NC Works Career Center Manager at NCWorks Career Center - Cumberland County. Diana has also worked as the Owner of G&E Advisor, where they provided consulting, speaking, writing, and teaching services to individual companies and groups in strategic business planning and marketing.

In their most recent role, Diana became the Chief Operations Officer at Fortuna BMC, a company focused on innovative workforce development solutions, education, technology deployment, and business development. Prior to this role, they also held the position of Director of Economic Development at Fortuna BMC.

Additionally, Diana served as the President of Always Fresh Foods, where they focused on creating a replicable and adaptable model for sustainable business through the use of hydroponics, specialized LED lighting, solar, and air to water technology.
