Jason Young

Jason Young is an experienced logistics and supply chain professional with a robust background in transportation and production management. As the Head of Transport at Connect Logistics from September 2021 to January 2023, Jason led a high-performing team and optimized logistics operations for 3,000 loads per month, achieving significant improvements in theft reduction and service delivery. Prior to this role, Jason served as Supply Chain Lead at Omni, overseeing procurement, logistics, and inventory management, and as Trader for Asia, managing diverse product trading and fostering supplier relationships. Jason's career began in FMCG manufacturing at Contactim, where a progressive journey from factory floor to Production Director involved extensive experience in engineering, HR, and strategic business initiatives. Jason holds a Matric degree from Michaelhouse and further education from IIE Varsity College.
