Director, Retail & Wholesale

NOTE: This role is based in NYC. Forum Brands operates a flexible, hybrid office policy in which employees are expected to be in-person at least three days per week.

We are hiring a Director of Retail to join our Growth Partnerships team in in NYC! In this role, you'll be responsible for driving strategic growth across all brands and categories within the wholesale landscape. You will also work on sourcing opportunities to support adjacent Consumer initiatives, such as inventory management, new product development, and licensing. This position reports into our VP of Growth Partnerships.

What you'll do:

• Own the total wholesale business P&L, including revenue generation, gross margin, operational expenses, and marketing
• Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and future brokers, agencies, and wholesale partners
• Support team in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize profitability and maintain brand integrity
• Work closely with cross functional teams, including design, creative, marketing, sourcing, production, and fulfillment, to optimize wholesale go to market strategy
• Provide insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform cross functional prioritization and support of wholesale strategy
• Manage Retail Partnerships Associate

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in retail
• Background in retail buying, planning, merchandising, operations, account management, or business development
• Experience with big box retailers (Target, Walmart, CVS, etc.)
• Experience with brokers and distributors
• Multi-brand or multi category experience preferred
