Jonathan Faelnar

Jonathan Faelnar has extensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. Jonathan currently holds the position of Director of Information Security & Technology at Forum Financial Management, LP since July 2021. In this role, they contribute to helping investors build, manage, and preserve their wealth by leveraging their technical expertise.

Prior to their current role, Jonathan worked as the Manager of Information Security at Edward Hospital from July 2018 to July 2021. Before that, they served as the Manager of Security, Privacy, and Risk at RSM US LLP from May 2017 to March 2018, and as the Manager of IT Risk Advisory Services from January 2017 to April 2017.

From July 2016 to January 2017, Jonathan worked as a Senior Manager of Cybersecurity at Plante Moran, and before that, they served as the Manager of Cybersecurity from February 2014 to July 2016. During their time at Plante Moran, they also worked on various IT audit projects for financial institutions, including Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, and identity theft compliance.

Prior to Plante Moran, Jonathan held the role of Officer, Internal IT Audit at Northern Trust from September 2006 to July 2008. Jonathan also worked as an Associate in IRM at KPMG from 2004 to 2006 and as an IT Specialist at Hallmark Data Systems from 2000 to 2002.

Jonathan Faelnar completed their education from 1997 to 2003 at Northern Illinois University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. Apart from their degree, they also hold a certification in CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) from ISACA, although specific information regarding the month and year of obtaining the certification is not available.
