Kyle R. Mitchin

Kyle R. Mitchin is currently the Chief People Officer at Forward Air. Prior to this, they were the Director of Recruiting at Panther Premium Logistics from September 2009 to June 2014. Kyle was responsible for hiring, training, and leading a team of 15 professionals, including managers, recruiters, and orientation coordinators. Kyle also was responsible for departmental budgeting, marketing, and advertising, as well as developing Key Performance Indicators to effectively maintain and exceed goals set by the executive management team. Kyle designed and implemented an industry-leading sign-on bonus program that directly resulted in a 20% increase in tractor-trailer fleet size within three months. Kyle also acquired and implemented a web-based recruiting software to maximize recruiter efficiency by streamlining applicant flow and eliminating the need for paper files for all candidates entering the system.

Prior to working at Panther Premium Logistics, Kyle R. Mitchin was a staffing manager at Robert Half International from June 2008 to May 2009.

Kyle R. Mitchin received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Walsh University in the field of business management. They also received a B.A. from Walsh University in management. They are certified from the Management and Strategy Institute as a Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional (LBBP).
