James Hamlin has a long history of software engineering experience. James began their career in 2005 as a Software Development Intern at BigFix, Inc. In 2007, they became a Software Engineering Intern at Google. In 2009, they held two roles simultaneously, Senior Software Engineer at Zinc and Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley. James also served as a Software Engineer at NVIDIA, where they were responsible for the development, optimization, and debugging of DirectX drivers for next-generation graphics hardware. In 2016, they began their current role as an Engineer at Forward.
James Hamlin received a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts from the same university in 2007, with a double major in Philosophy and Computer Science.
