Taylor Roan has worked at eight different companies since 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they were an intern at Waterford Research Institute as a Content Designer. From 2006 to 2007, they were an intern at Applied Minds, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Thermal Engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Mechanical Engineer and Product Designer at Applied Minds, a Nanofluid Simulation Analyst at Dainippon Screen, and the Founder of Rider's Lock. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Lead HW Engineer and Designer at SoundOne. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Special Projects - Javelin HW Lead at Google. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been a HW Lead at Forward.
Taylor Roan received a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, and Theory of Language from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2007. Taylor then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2008.
