Yassin Janneh, MPA

Yassin Janneh, MPA has been in the workforce since 2012. Yassin began their career as a Program Intern at Global Fund for Women, where they were responsible for drafting and editing summaries of grantees' program activity reports, processing grant proposals, and participating in program management meetings with existing grantees. In the same year, they took on the role of Talent Acquisition Manager at La Clinica de La Raza. In 2018, they moved to Samuel Merritt University, where they served as Manager, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding. In this role, they provided expert tactical and strategic guidance/support to dean, associate deans, and program chairs on HR operations including hiring, clinical staffing, onboarding, and compliance. Yassin was also responsible for process improvements and implementation, training on processes and faculty hiring/onboarding workflows, program/project management, and diversity recruitment. Yassin'scurrent role is Recruiting Manager at Forward, which they began in 2022.

Yassin Janneh earned their MPA from the University of San Francisco in 2010, with a focus on Public Admin (Health Administration). Yassin received their BA from Saint Mary's University in 2006, with a field of study in International Development Studies. Yassin also holds an IGCSE Diploma from Marina International High.
