David Brandt, SHRM-CP, MBA began their career as a Volunteer Marketing Assistant for Centra Health in 2011. David then worked as an Operations Associate, Customer Engagement Specialist, and Cashier for Dick's Sporting Goods from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they also served as the Assistant Football Coach for Brookville High School. In 2012, they were a Sports Ministry Intern for UW Sports Ministry and became the Liberty University Student Chapter Director of Membership for SHRM. David later worked as an External Aid Processor for Liberty University in 2013.
In 2014, Brandt joined Lynchburg Tire Corp. as an Office Assistant and Sales Associate. David transitioned to Intercon Inc. in 2014 and held various roles including Account Manager, HR/Finance Coordinator, and Human Resources Manager. As the Human Resources Manager, they were responsible for overseeing benefits and policies, managing the HR management system, conducting recruitment, coordinating employee engagement initiatives, implementing training programs, and enforcing company policies.
In 2023, Brandt joined Foster Fuels, Inc. as the Director of Human Resources.
David Brandt, SHRM-CP, MBA, obtained their high school diploma from Brookville High School. David then went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Human Resource Management, from Liberty University between 2010 and 2013. In 2016, they pursued further education at LSU Shreveport and completed a Masters of Business Administration. David also holds additional certifications such as the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM, obtained in June 2019, and the OSHA 30-HR General Industry Hazard certification from the OSHA Education Center, obtained in September 2018.
