Juan Sebastián Cañavera Herrera, Ph.D is currently a Member at PIARC - World Road Association, contributing to the Planning the Resilience of Road Networks committee. Juan Sebastián has experience in sustainability and resilience consulting at companies like AECOM and Foster + Partners. Their educational background includes a PhD in Future Infrastructure and Built Environment from the University of Cambridge, an MRes in Civil Engineering, and a Degree of Honour in Civil Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
