Elizabeth Hunter

Elizabeth Hunter has extensive experience in civil engineering and planning, currently serving as a Civil Engineer & Planner at Snyder & Associates, Inc. since October 2017. Hunter has held various leadership roles and board memberships with organizations such as Council Bluffs Trees Forever, the Eastern Nebraska Society of Women Engineers, and the Iowa Engineering Society. Prior positions include Manager of Civil Engineering at The Schemmer Associates and Project Manager at LEO A DALY. Educational credentials include a BS in Civil Engineering and Environmental Studies from Iowa State University, an MS in Civil Engineering & Community & Regional Planning from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and additional leadership training. Passionate about community engagement, Hunter has volunteered for initiatives including the Dream Playground Re-Imagined project.
