We partner alongside clients in all project phases, from planning through construction, on building roads, airports and water systems. Our Rapid City, SD office location is growing! We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented part time Administrative Assistant to support our team. If you are interested in learning about the exciting world of civil and construction engineering, this is the role for you! 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with office staff on special projects
  • Plan activities, events, projects and other business-related functions
  • Answer and transfers calls, screening when necessary and serve as the first point of contact for visitors
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, ensuring conference rooms are set up accordingly
  • Provide general office support including minor building maintenance activities
  • Schedule minor building maintenance activities with subcontractors
  • Coordinate travel needs for other team members
  • Assist in preparing for industry and trade conferences
  • Assist with proposal creation
  • Communicate professionally and effectively through various forms of written correspondence (i.e. letter, email, memorandums)

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in a professional office administration role
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • Minimum five years of experience in a professional office administration role
