Brad Ward

Brad Ward is a seasoned professional in community philanthropy, currently serving as the National Director of Community Foundations at Foundant Technologies since March 2021, after holding the position of Regional Director. Prior to this, Brad worked at the Council on Foundations from February 2016 to April 2021 as Lead Strategist and Director of Community Philanthropy, focusing on collaboration among Community Foundations across the United States. From August 2008 to January 2016, Brad was the Chief Executive Officer of the Dubois County Community Foundation, leading a merger with the Huntingburg Foundation and enhancing community endowment initiatives. Previous experience includes a role as Community Representative with the American Cancer Society from August 2005 to May 2008, managing fundraising efforts and community outreach. Brad's career began in January 1998 as the owner of DJ Entertainment Services. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from DePauw University and a Certificate in Irish Politics, Peace Studies, and Conflict Resolution from University College Cork.
