Corina Leister, MBA, SPHR has a diverse work experience in the field of HR. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at California State University-Sacramento in various roles. As a Lead Personnel Analyst, they led a team of three staff members and managed all personnel actions, including recruitments, appointments, separations, and promotions. Corina also handled the recruitment lifecycle for multiple vacancies across different departments within the Division of Student Affairs. Additionally, they served as a Learning & Development Analyst, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive Professional Development program and led employee appreciation and engagement activities. Before that, they worked as a Personnel Analyst, collaborating with department directors and program centers to manage personnel actions and recruitment processes. Recently, in 2022, they joined the Foundation for California Community Colleges as an HR Business Insights Partner.
Corina Leister, MBA, SPHR completed their Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at California State University-Sacramento from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from the same institution, from 2013 to 2015.
In addition to their academic achievements, Corina has obtained several certifications. Corina received the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in September 2021. Corina also obtained the Quality Standards in Customer Service certification from LinkedIn in May 2020 and the Thriving @ Work: Leveraging the Connection between Well-Being and Productivity certification from LinkedIn in April 2020.
