Chase Sauvage

2023 National Security Fellow at Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD)

Chase Sauvage has extensive experience in national security and legislative affairs, currently serving as a Senior Professional Staff Member for the House Committee on Homeland Security and National Security Advisor to Representative August Pfluger (TX-11) since August 2014. Previous roles include Military Legislative Assistant and Legislative Assistant, where Chase provided policy recommendations on national security, trade, and technology, and led initiatives within various Congressional committees. Earlier positions include analyzing legislative activities as a Legislative Correspondent and Staff Assistant for Congressman K. Michael Conaway (TX-11). In addition to holding a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science from the USAF Air Command and Staff College, Chase is a 2023 National Security Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Early career experience includes a Congressional Internship with Congressman Conaway and work as a Shop Assistant at Motivational Systems, Inc.
