Catherine Master is a legal professional with extensive experience in healthcare and research institutions. Currently, Catherine serves as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health, having also held positions as Associate General Counsel and Senior Grants and Contracts Counsel within the same organization since April 2017. Previously, Catherine worked at Covance from 2009 to 2017 as a Manager, and at Locke Lord LLP as an Associate from 1987 to 1993. Catherine's early career includes roles as a Recruiter at Seton Medical Center and a Registered Nurse at UC San Diego Health. Academically, Catherine holds a JD from The University of Texas at Austin and a dual degree of BSN and BA in Nursing and English from Auburn University.
