Allison Sargoy

Director, Strategic Partnerships Lead | Biopharma Enterprise Partnerships at Foundation Medicine

Allison Sargoy has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Starting in 2007, they volunteered at Foothill AIDS Project. Allison then worked as a Research Assistant at City of Hope in 2009. Later that year, they became a Research Communications Writer at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. In 2009, they joined UCLA as a Graduate Student Researcher and later became a Postdoctoral Scholar. During their time at UCLA, they also worked as a Senior Life Science Technology Transfer Fellow at UCLA Technology Development Group from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they started working at Amgen as a Licensing Associate, and later became a Senior Licensing Associate and Licensing Manager. In 2018, they joined Kite Pharma where they held various roles including Senior Manager and Associate Director in Technical Operations and Alliance Management. In 2020, they became the President of Women at Gilead Southern California Kite Chapter. Allison also worked at the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association as a Director at Large in Marketing and Communications from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are the Director, Strategic Partnerships Lead for BioPharma & Corporate Alliances at Foundation Medicine.

Allison Sargoy earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Neuroscience from Pitzer College in 2008. Allison then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neurobiology at UCLA, completing their studies in 2014. Prior to attending Pitzer College, they briefly attended Indiana University Bloomington.
