Jeffrey Leibowitz

Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Foundation Medicine

Jeffrey Leibowitz has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics. Jeffrey started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Florida in 2011 and later became a Graduate Research Assistant at the same institution from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, Jeffrey worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

In 2018, they also worked as an Independent Consultant in the field of Bioinformatics. After that, they joined Foundation Medicine in 2019 and held various positions including Bioinformatics Scientist II, Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, and currently as a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist.

Jeffrey Leibowitz earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2014. Jeffrey went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the same field at the UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering from 2014 to 2017.
