Now, 1.5 years later, the portal is in use and the team is complete. 

The portal Founded in Groningen aims to link the vast network of startups, entrepreneurs, freelancers, SME-businesses and the corporates, in Groningen. They highlight the successes, showcase new technologies invented in Groningen and profile the city's talent, nationally and internationally. It is the website to discover innovation focussed events, whether startups in the city are hiring or to just get inspired by the stories of our city’s talent.
 
Besides a connecting and communicating role, the team has a supporting role too. To help initiatives and companies outperform themselves. We ask; “What do you need to make this the best initiative or event it can be? Where can we help?” Founded in Groningen also wants to broaden the perceptions of young and upcoming entrepreneurs.
