Matt Ryan is an experienced high school social studies teacher currently working at Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 since July 2019. Prior to this role, Matt taught at Newark City Schools from August 2017 to July 2019, where success was achieved in improving student performance in AP US History and General Level US History, along with previous experience teaching Government and World History. Earlier in their career, Matt was part of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department as an Outdoor Education Staff member from July 2011 to July 2015, overseeing summer camp activities for children aged 6 to 12. Matt holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Integrated Social Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from The Ohio State University.
