Avi Phookan

Avi Phookan, CHBA, is an accomplished hotel management professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the hospitality industry. Currently serving as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts since April 2022, Avi oversees a premier oceanfront retreat in Hawaii. Prior roles include Resort Manager at Autograph Collection, where Avi managed the opening of Marriott's first premium branded resort in Belize, and Cluster Director of Food & Beverage at Kempinski Hotels in Qatar. Avi's career also encompasses key positions in food and beverage management at luxury properties such as Omni Hotels & Resorts and Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, as well as various roles during the early stages of multiple hotel openings. Avi holds degrees from César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, Cornell University, and Florida Atlantic University, emphasizing a strong foundation in hotel operations and management.
