Alexa Schmidt

Alexa Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2014, they worked as a General Laborer at Schriener's Iris Garden. From 2017 to 2020, they held various roles at Duck's Village, including Brand Ambassador, Leasing Coordinator, and Assistant Property Manager, where they were responsible for managing brand ambassadors and leasing associates, collecting rent payments, and participating in meetings with property managers. In 2021, they joined Ooligan Press as a Staff Member, where they worked on projects such as generating content for social media and coordinating book launch events. More recently, in 2020, they became a Senior Communication Analyst at Foureyes, specializing in writing detailed notes about customer sales interest and qualifying prospects. Alexa also has experience as a Freelance Editor, starting in 2022.

Alexa Schmidt attended Cascade Senior High School from 2011 to 2015, where they did not receive a degree or specialize in any specific field of study. In 2015, they enrolled at the University of Oregon and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, with a minor in Writing, Public Speaking, and Critical Reasoning. Following their undergraduate studies, in 2019, Alexa obtained a Graduate Certificate from the University of Denver in the field of Publishing Institute. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science degree in Book Publishing at Portland State University, starting in 2021 and anticipated to graduate in 2022.
