Lindy Thackston is an experienced journalist and broadcaster with a strong background in news anchoring and event emceeing. Currently serving as the anchor for FOX 59 Morning News and the Indiana Pacers emcee since October 2013, Lindy also works as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WXIN TV. Additionally, roles include PA announcer at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and a previous position as social media director for Ed Carpenter Racing and Fuzzy's Ultra Premium Vodka. Past experiences include freelance reporting for WTHR NBC, fill-in hosting for The Daily Buzz, and pit reporting for IndyCar Series on Versus. Lindy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and English from Purdue University in December 2001.
