Aida Montserrat Pagès

Scientist at FOx Biosystems

Aida Montserrat Pagès is a Scientist at FOx Biosystems since July 2023. Previously, Aida served as a postdoctoral researcher at KUL Biosensors from September 2017 to June 2023, where Aida was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD Fellow in the ND4ID Project within the MeBioS-Biosensors group. Aida has experience as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Oxford during two separate visits in November 2019 and November 2021, focusing on single-molecule research under the guidance of Professor Achillefs Kapanidis. Earlier in Aida's career, research roles included an Msc student researcher at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) and an undergraduate student researcher at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC). Aida holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from KU Leuven (2017-2023), a Master’s degree in Advanced Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2015-2016), and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universitat de Barcelona (2011-2015).
