Marisa Acosta

Marisa Acosta is an experienced professional with a diverse background in administration, education, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant at Fox Tucson Theatre since March 2022, Marisa provides essential support to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, managing complex schedules and fostering community relationships. As the owner of Make Up Therapy since February 2019, Marisa offers innovative beauty solutions, enabling individuals to achieve salon-quality results at home. Prior roles include teaching middle school math and science for the San Xavier District from August 2018 to March 2022 and providing administrative support as a Senior Office Assistant for the Town of Sahuarita. Marisa's career began at Bose Corporation as a Sales Specialist from September 2014 to January 2016. Marisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Pima Community College.
