Larry Lapp

Larry Lapp, currently serving as Chief of Police at Fox Valley Park District, has an extensive background in law enforcement. Larry previously held roles such as Inspector General at Kendall County Sheriff Office, Investigator at Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Commander at Schaumburg Police Department, and Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where Larry managed various programs related to violent crime. Larry also worked as a Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, and Patrol Officer at North Aurora Police Department. Larry holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Aurora University.
