Edgardo Blanchet has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Edgardo started their career at IBM as an Assistant Manager in Latin America Software Production and Distribution from 1992 to 1994. Edgardo then joined Sony Electronics in 1996 and held several positions including Business Planning Manager, Human Resources and Facilities Director, and Supply / Demand Chain Management Director. In these roles, they focused on business planning, logistics, import/export, and ensuring inventory and delivery targets aligned with market requirements. During their time at Sony, they achieved significant improvements in on-time delivery, manufacturing flexibility, and cost savings. In 2009, Sony's business was sold to Foxconn Technology Group, and Edgardo continued their career there as Vice President of Baja California Operations. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing business planning, logistics, procurement/sourcing, and human resources management for a multibillion-dollar business. Edgardo implemented strategies that resulted in increased revenue, reduced logistics costs, improved inventory turns, and material obsolescence reduction. Edgardo Blanchet has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Panamericana.
