Twambilire Mwabungulu serves as the Advocacy Accountability and Partnerships Manager at FP2030, leading advocacy and partnerships initiatives for the East and Southern Africa Regional Hub since April 2024. Previous experience includes a role as Health System Advocacy Officer at Amref Health Africa in Malawi from April 2019 to March 2024, focusing on policy initiatives in health systems strengthening. Twambilire also worked as a District Civic Education Officer at the National Initiative for Civic Education-NICE, facilitating civic and voter education programmes from April 2013 to April 2019. Earlier positions include serving as a Lecturer in Social Science Research at the Malawi Institute of Journalism, a Programme Officer with the Livingstonia Synod; Church and Society Programme, and a Technical Manager at Direct Ad. Twambilire holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, and has furthered education with a Certificate of Competence in Education Rights, Policy, and Planning from the University of the Witwatersrand.
