Mike Gooley

Mike Gooley is a Managing Director based in the Ferguson Partners Toronto office. Mr. Gooley specializes in placing C-Suite executives and filling functional leadership positions as a member of the firm’s executive search practice. He has more than 15 years of experience providing retained executive search services to companies in a plethora of industries, including financial services, technology, business and IT and professional services.

Mr. Gooley began his search career by leading the financial services and executive search practices at a large global recruiting firm. He also launched his own company, ClearView Executive Search, and worked as a partner with a Top 10 North American executive search firm prior to joining Ferguson Partners. Recognized as a top search professional by multiple media outlets, Mr. Gooley has provided expert commentary for broadcast stations including Canada AM, BNN Bloomberg, CTV, Citytv Toronto, CP24 & CHCH TV.

Mr. Gooley earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management Economics from the University of Guelph. He also holds chartered professional accountant and chartered accountant designations. When he’s not working on search assignments, Mr. Gooley likes volunteering for organizations that aim to end youth homelessness, going helicopter and cat skiing and enjoying good food, wine and conversation with his family and friends.
