Jono Spiro has been working in the software engineering industry since 2008. 🧙🏻‍♂️Jono began their career as a Flash Software Engineer for Sprout in 2008 and then moved to Scribd in 2010 as Lead Software Engineer. In 2010, they also began working for Tiny Speck, Inc. as a Flash Software Engineer. In 2012, they worked for Artillery Games, Inc. as a Generalist Software Engineer. In 2014, they worked for OpenROV as a Production Assistant while also founding Sparky Corp, where they were the Founder and wore all hats. In 2015, they became Technical Lead and Backend Engineer for Carlypso. In 2016, they were the Founding Engineer for a connected physical payments and customer loyalty platform. From 2017 to 2022, they worked for OpenGov Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer (MTS-5) on the Global Security Team, Engineering Operations, and Budgeting and Planning teams. Jono then moved to Fractal Software in 2022 as Principal Software Engineer.

Jono Spiro attended Brown University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned an AB in Computer Science. In 2005, they also attended The University of Edinburgh for Computer Science.
