Elayne Alcalá has worked in a variety of roles since 2002. Elayne began their career as an Ayudante Administrativo at Universidad Simón Bolívar, where they were a receptionist and assisted with electrical surveys, distribution board registrations, and the creation of plans for the Physical Plants Department. In 2007, they moved to JM The World Consulting as an Ingeniera Junior, where they worked on energy projects for CANTV and managed backup systems for telecommunications, such as battery banks and generators. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Gerente Técnico at Iguazú Representaciones, providing advice and managing public contracts for Corpoelec in terms of generation and transmission of electrical energy. During this time, they were also responsible for tenders, generating documents, contracts, and technical sheets, as well as managing and developing projects. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Analista de Comercializacion at SVF Consulting Representaciones, C.A. In 2015, they became an Ingeniera Electricista en Libre Ejercicio Profesional at OCTOCORP LTD. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an Ingeniera de Proyecto, Scrum Master e Scrum Developer (Home Office) at Agropezim Group, developing electrical projects for deep wells, electrical installations of submersible motors, and photovoltaic generation projects. In 2018, they joined Petruz Fruity as a Planejamento e Controle da Manutenção and Gestão de projetos enxuta, where they applied Lean Maintenance and Lean Project Management tools to the company's projects. Finally, in 2019, they joined ATEQ Corp. as a Gestora de qualidade, where they implemented a Quality Management System based on ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for the calibration laboratory for pressure and flow. In 2020, they began working at Fracttal as a Coordinadora de proyectos (UX), Especialista de Projetos, Líder de projetos (BR), and Representante de Serviços (BR).

Elayne Alcalá graduated from Universidad Simón Bolívar in 2007 with a degree in Ingeniería eléctrica, earning an Ingeniero Electricista.
