Hilary Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hilary began their career in 2010 as a Retail Sales Associate at the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust. In 2011, they worked at Indiana University Bloomington as a Circulation Desk staff member in the Wells Library. The following year, they served as a Peer Tutor at Indiana University.

In 2013, Hilary joined the Indiana Magazine of History as an Editorial Assistant. Hilary then transitioned to Fragomen in 2014, where they started as an Administrative Assistant.
