Sylvia Nguyen Dang

Sylvia Nguyen Dang has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Sylvia has worked as a Lead Product Designer at Frame, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Design Lead at SND Design, where they helped startups, small businesses, and agencies design their UX strategy, web and mobile experiences, and brand. Sylvia also worked as a Senior Product Designer at Elation Health, focusing on improving clinical workflows for care teams and creating team management systems for complex healthcare enterprises. Sylvia was the first Product Designer at Lambda School, where they designed end-to-end experiences and interfaces for students. Sylvia has also worked at Uber, where they served as a Business Development Manager and later as a Marketing Manager and Visual Designer. Sylvia's work at Uber included launching national campaigns, negotiating business development deals, and managing marketing campaigns and paid acquisitions. Before Uber, they worked at City CarShare as a Community Programs Manager, securing federal funding and expanding the company's locations and membership. Sylvia began their career as an Executive Fellow in the Capital Fellows Program at the California Environmental Protection Agency, representing the agency in stakeholder meetings and assisting with legislative summaries and policy analyses.

Sylvia Nguyen Dang has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology from Stanford University. Sylvia also holds a Master of Design degree in Interaction Design from the California College of the Arts. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree at Stanford University, majoring in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity as well as Human Biology.
