Sisi Yu

Sisi Yu has a diverse work experience in the field of product design and UX. Sisi is currently working as a Product Designer at Frame.io since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Unqork as a Product Designer from January 2021 to January 2022 and as an Associate UX Designer from March 2020 to December 2020. Sisi also served as the Head of Product Design at TouchWood Labs from March 2020 to January 2022. Additionally, Sisi has had experience as an AI/UX Designer at AITHER, an HCI Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, and as a Machine Intelligence Experience Design Intern at Adobe. Sisi also worked as the Experience Design Lead for a Capstone Project at Truck-Lite Co., LLC and as a Full-stack Designer and co-founder of the startup AMP. Sisi's earlier experience includes roles as a Communications UX Designer at Cornell University Sustainable Design (CUSD) and as a Marketing and Communications Consultant at VOICES OF AFRICAN MOTHERS INC.

Sisi Yu has a diverse education history with a focus on technology and design. Sisi obtained a Master's degree in Computer Information Technology and Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, completing the program from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Products and Services with a specialization in Product Development at Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied Interaction Design and Human AI Interaction between 2018 and 2019. Sisi also gained a Certificate in Coding and Web Development from the Horizons School of Technology for a brief period in 2018.

Before their Master's studies, Sisi earned a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Cornell University, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, they participated in Cornell University's Summer College program in 2012, focusing on Engineering. Sisi's educational journey began at West Island School, where they completed their IB/IGCSE degree between 2007 and 2013.

In addition to their degrees, Sisi has obtained various certifications to enhance their skill set. Sisi completed courses such as "Introduction to Java and Object-Oriented Programming," "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra," "Data Analysis Using Python," and "Introduction to Python Programming" through Coursera, obtaining the certifications between September and October 2021. Furthermore, they completed a course on "Introduction to Augmented Reality and ARCore by Google AR & VR" through Coursera in July 2021. Sisi also obtained a certification in "Designing for Neural Networks and AI Interfaces" from LinkedIn in September 2020.
