Vince Baertsoen

Vince Baertsoen has a strong background in the CG and VFX industry, with extensive experience in leadership roles. Vince began their career as a CG artist in 2004 and quickly moved up the ranks, taking on roles such as Lead CG and Senior VFX/CG Supervisor. From 2012 to 2016, Baertsoen served as co-Head of CG and VFX Supervisor at The Mill, managing a large team and overseeing department budgets. Vince then became the Group CG Director at The Mill in 2016, responsible for coordinating and developing the CG workflow across multiple office locations. In 2019, Baertsoen joined Framestore as the Global Head of CG for IA, where they oversee communication, management, and the implementation of new technologies and VFX workflows across the company.

Vince Baertsoen holds a Master's degree in CG Animation from Supinfocom Group, which they completed from 2002 to 2004. Vince also obtained an Associate's degree in Engineering from St. Eloi between 1999 and 2001. In 2012, they attended the American Management Association for a management skills course designed for new managers. In addition to their formal education, Vince has obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Stanford Online and Managing the Company of the Future from the University of London in 2021.
