David O'Donnell

David O'Donnell currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Investments at Franchise Equity Partners, an independent private investment firm with $1 billion in committed capital, since October 2021. Prior to this role, David O'Donnell was involved in public and private equity, focusing on special situations at Elliott Investment Management L.P., where employment lasted from November 2015 to July 2021. Earlier experience includes a position in Consumer & Retail Private Equity at KKR & Co. Inc. and a tenure at Morgan Stanley also within the Consumer & Retail sector. David O'Donnell earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) with a major in Finance and Civil Engineering from the University of Melbourne and completed education at Melbourne Grammar School.
