Melissa Roach has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Melissa started their career as a Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival Intern at Thumper Entertainment in November 2015 and continued in that role until October 2016. Melissa then worked as a Server at The Tiger Hotel from October 2014 to May 2018. Melissa also worked at Regus as a Community Associate from December 2016 to May 2017. From May 2017 to October 2018, they served as a Volunteer Coordinator at Thumper Entertainment. In June 2017, they joined Bur Oak Brewing Company as a Special Events Intern and later became their Event & Marketing Manager from June 2017 to April 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Tour Marketing & Events Assistant at Yonas Media from June 2018 to September 2019, where they coordinated tour marketing, managed PR, and organized street teams for multiple artists. Currently, Melissa is employed at Frank Productions as a Booking, Marketing, and Special Events Coordinator since April 2019, and recently took on the role of Talent Buyer in January 2022.
Melissa Roach attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management. In 2015, they also had the opportunity to study at Florence University of the Arts for a short period of time. To enhance their qualifications, Melissa obtained the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification from the National Restaurant Association in April 2015 and became a Certified Tourism Ambassador through the Certified Tourism Ambassador™ (CTA) Program in October 2015.
