Rory Hayes

Rory Hayes has over 6 years of work experience in software engineering. In 2016, they began working as a Software Engineer at Accenture, where they were a part of the testing team for a major financial institution project and was a member of the data team responsible for the large scale design and implementation of test environments for Ireland's new Single Energy Market. In 2018, they moved to Soft-ex, a WidePoint Company, as a Software Engineer. In 2019, they joined Workday as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the development of an application that had the potential to save the company $40 million a year and 34,000 working hours a year. Rory also led, managed and architected the design and development of a fundamental aspect of the Workday codebase, enabling 70% customer uptake of a new Workday application. In 2021, they moved to Sonder as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2022 they joined FrankieOne as a Solutions Architect.

Rory Hayes attended Technological University Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2012-2016 and a Master's degree in Product Management from 2020-2022.
