Colleen Dawson

Colleen Dawson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in human resources and fitness instruction. Currently serving as a Zumba Fitness Instructor at Franklin Athletic Club, Williamson County Parks and Recreation, and Franklin YMCA since April 2013, Colleen also held the position of Wellness Director at Franklin Family YMCA from May 2020 to November 2023. Prior to their fitness career, Colleen worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Wood Personnel Services, managing various employment processes and recruitment strategies from May 2006 to April 2011, and as a Front Desk Agent at Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Colleen's early career included roles as a Placement Coordinator/Area Specialist at CRS Temporary Housing and as a Human Resources Assistant at Metro/Southwest Ambulance. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts in Communication from Mesa Community College.
