Lisa D. Dent, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lisa began their career as an Analyst, Regulatory Compliance with Cuyahoga County in 1999, where they collected data, analyzed information, and developed reporting for systematic quality improvement. Lisa then served as the Manager of Regulatory Compliance with Cuyahoga County's Employment & Family Services, ensuring regulatory compliance for the TANF program.
In 2006, Lisa joined the City of Cleveland, Mayor's Office of Equal Opportunity as a Compliance Administrator. Lisa managed compliance and enforcement of equal employment opportunity policies and small business inclusion. Lisa also played a key role in establishing the Office of Equal Opportunity, Compliance Enforcement unit.
In 2011, Lisa transitioned to the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland as the Manager of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion. Lisa provided oversight and thought leadership on industry standards and best practices for workforce and supplier diversity. Lisa also advanced executive strategies to improve workplace culture and promote inclusion.
Lisa's next career move was to G. Stephens Inc. in 2016, where they served as the Manager of Inclusion & Outreach. Lisa managed compliance to diversity and inclusion standards, directed a team of compliance specialists, and provided expertise for proposal development.
In 2018, Lisa began working for Akron Public Schools as a Guest Teacher, educating and developing students in K-12 grades. Lisa fulfilled a long-term teaching assignment for 5th Grade, covering various subjects.
Most recently, Lisa joined Franklin County Public Health in 2020 as the Associate Director of Equity and Inclusion. In this role, they focus on promoting equity and inclusion within the organization.

Lisa D. Dent, MPA, completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from The University of Akron in 1994. Following this, they obtained a Certificate in Applied Politics from the University of Akron's Bliss Institute in December 1994. Lisa later pursued their Master's in Public Administration (MPA) from Cleveland State University, which they completed between 1997 and 1999.
