Rose Shannon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rose is currently the Program Operations Director at Franklin Energy since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Manager at Franklin Energy Services from October 2017 to December 2022. Rose also served as the Sustainability Program Manager (Energy Efficiency) at the City of Milwaukee - Environmental Collaboration Office from September 2015 to October 2017, where they managed and implemented an expansion of the City's Better Buildings Challenge program.

Rose started their career as a Waste Prevention and Recycling MN GreenCorps/AmeriCorps Member at Three Rivers Park District from September 2010 to August 2011.
Rose Shannon received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Magna Cum Laude degree in International Relations, with a focus on Environmental Analysis & Policy, from Boston University. Rose attended Boston University from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Rose pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2012 to 2014.
