Joseph MacLean is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a Detective with the Franklin Police Department since June 2016, while also working as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Franklin High School since 2007. MacLean has been a Patrolman for the Town of Franklin, Massachusetts, since February 2005, where responsibilities include community protection and law enforcement. Additionally, Joseph has provided instruction for the Municipal Police Training Committee since 2004, covering topics such as Standardized Field Sobriety and Drug Recognition. Previous experience includes serving as a Patrolman with the Nantucket Police Department from February 2002 to March 2005. Joseph holds an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from the Community College of Rhode Island and completed training at the 39th MPOC Plymouth Police Academy in 2001.
