Amarachi O.

Amarachi O. has a diverse work experience. Amarachi is currently working as a Learning Experience Designer at FranklinCovey since September 2021. Prior to that, Amarachi owned their own business called AOk (Amarachi Okemiri) Creates, where they served as the owner, designer, and consultant. At AOk, they specialized in logo and brand identity design, document and presentation design, website customization, copy editing, and communications consulting.

Amarachi also worked at California LGMA for a significant period, starting as a Member Services Coordinator from June 2014 to April 2017. In this role, they focused on editing training manuals and contributing content as necessary, as well as assisting in coordinating activities to drive training course development. Subsequently, they became the Member Services and Training Director from April 2017 to September 2021, where they conceptualized and coordinated the creation of the organization's first virtual reality risk assessment training activity. Additionally, they introduced user-friendly compliance guides and oversaw the development and maintenance of courses.

Furthermore, Amarachi has experience working as the Office of Mayor Kevin Johnson Mayoral Fellow at Greenwise Joint Venture from June 2013 to June 2014. During this time, they designed and implemented the "Farm to School to Fuel" program, collaborating with school districts and food distributors to quantify the amount of locally grown food being purchased by schools. Amarachi also wrote content for an online resource to assist school districts in adopting similar programs.

Amarachi pursued their MBA from the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management, where they were a student from September 2012 to June 2014. As part of their studies, they worked as an MBA Consulting Project Lead at Mars from September 2013 to March 2014. In this role, they managed a team and facilitated communication between the client and consulting team, while also building a strategic analytical framework to identify sustainable investment opportunities in the supply chain.

Prior to their MBA, Amarachi worked as a tutor at Mercy Education from October 2012 to May 2013. Amarachi also gained research experience as a Research Student at California State University, Sacramento from June 2011 to May 2012. In this role, they led a biodiesel research program and presented their findings at a research symposium. Amarachi conducted experiments and analyzed data using various scientific techniques, making improvements to the experimental procedure to enhance efficiency and product yield.

Lastly, Amarachi worked as a private tutor from January 2010 to March 2012, offering their tutoring services to students outside of a formal organization.

Amarachi O. holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing and Organizational Behavior from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management. This degree was obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Amarachi completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry at California State University-Sacramento from 2008 to 2012. Amarachi also received a High School Diploma from Franklin High School, although the dates of attendance are unknown.

In addition to formal education, Amarachi has obtained a certification in Adobe InDesign Fundamentals from AcademyX in June 2019.
