Daniel Chui has a diverse work experience in law enforcement and training. Daniel began their career in 2001 as a police officer and also served as an Agency Clets Coordinator. Throughout their career, they have held various roles, including being a POST Instructor and a POST Simulation Evaluator. In 2012, they became a Certified 7 Habit Instructor, providing training on principles of effectiveness for law enforcement professionals. Daniel has also been involved in leadership positions, serving as an Executive Board Member and Treasurer for the Northern California Asian Peace Officer Association. In 2013, they took on the role of AICC POST Instructor Development Coordinator, where they coordinated and facilitated training programs. In 2017, they joined the City & County of San Francisco - Police Department as an HRMS Security Administrator and was later promoted to the position of Police Sergeant. Daniel Chui completed their BPA in Public Administration from USF from 1995 to 1997. Daniel later pursued a POST Instructor certification in Rubric Evaluation from MICC in the year 2010 to 2011.
