Nathan Feger

Nathan Feger has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Starting in 1998 as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, they gained experience in grading projects, tutoring students, and lecturing. In 1999, they founded rightshop.net.

From 2001 to 2005, Nathan worked as a Software Engineer at Works, where they designed and developed high-quality software for a financial software ASP serving Fortune 2000 companies. Nathan also contributed to the design and development of the reporting system.

In 2005, they joined Bank of America as a Software Engineer before moving on to eBay in 2006. At eBay, they worked as a Senior Software Developer, developing tools to improve sales and conversion percentage for vehicles listed on eBay Motors.

From 2009 to 2011, Nathan worked at Allen Technologies as a Senior Software Developer and later as a Team Lead. Nathan managed Oracle and MySQL databases, worked on legacy code and new feature development, and led a team.

At Spredfast, Nathan held the role of Engineering Team Lead from 2014 to 2015, where they led teams using scrum-like methodologies, interacted with APIs like Facebook and Twitter, and worked on metrics tracking and data storage. Nathan later became a Software Architect, responsible for leading teams and ensuring project deadlines were met.

Joining Schoology in 2015, Nathan started as an Engineering Manager, overseeing data engineering and microservice efforts. Nathan later became a Senior Engineering Manager, contributing to technical designs and participating in the Kubernetes migration. Finally, they served as the Director of Software Engineering, responsible for high-performing teams and product development.

At PowerSchool Group from 2019 to 2022, Nathan held various roles, including Director of Software Engineering and Senior Director of Engineering. Nathan led software engineering teams and contributed to the company's growth.

Currently, Nathan Feger works at FranklinCovey as the Head of Engineering, bringing their wealth of experience to the role.

Nathan Feger has a diverse education history. Nathan first attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1997 to 1999, where they studied computer science. Although it is not specified, it seems that they did not complete a degree during this time. Later, from 2006 to 2009, Nathan attended St. Edward's University. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Business Management.

In addition to their formal education, Nathan Feger has also acquired additional certifications. In August 2020, they became a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer, completing the relevant program offered by Triplebyte.
